To the students taking “Advanced Chemical Engineering” exam,

Starting from this year, several things will be applied to the exam.

Please check the below guidelines and prepare for the exam.

1. Problems related to 3 subjects (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and chemical reaction engineering) will be suggested in the exam based on the main textbooks.

> thermodynamics : Fundamentals of chemical engineering thermodynamics, Kevin D. Dahm & Donald P. Visco, Jr. SI edition

> fluid mechanics : Fluid Mechanics for Chemical Engineers, James O. Wilkes, 3rd Edition

> chemical reaction engineering : The Engineering of Chemical Reactions: International 2nd Edition, Lanny D. Schmidt

2. Problems suggested in the previous exam will not be used in this exam.

3. Please check the information and especially the examples in each testbook (chapter 1 to chapter 4 for all subjects) carefully for preparing the exam (not the problems in the textbooks).

4. Partial points will be given but meaningless writings will get minus points too.

5. 3 problems will be suggested for each subject (total 9 problems)

6. 2 hr will be given for the entire exam. Problems will be suggested in English.
